From Community Relations
Term 4 is upon us, and for Community Relations this means a lot more exciting events, as well as the creation of a range of publications – including the next edition of Torch magazine and the Carey Chronicle. We are also busy finalising enrolments for next year, and hosting a range of alumni events including the annual OCGA Breakfast for Year 12 students next week.
Another highlight for this term will be the Carey Art and Design Exhibition, which opens tomorrow night (Friday 13 October). More information about the exhibition can be found here. Tickets are also now available for this year’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast which supports fundraising for life-changing breast cancer research. It’s a great morning for a great cause.
The annual Senior School Speech Night is just a couple of weeks away, which promises to be a wonderful celebration of student achievement and participation in the Carey community. Preparations have been underway for many weeks, and it promises to be a very special evening for all involved. For our Year 12 students, Term 4 marks the end of their school journey and beginning of plans for life beyond school. We wish them well in their upcoming assessments and examinations.
For families completing their final year at Carey, a reminder that Community Relations stock a range of Carey merchandise if you are looking for a special memento of the School. Please find a list of items and prices here.
